The yoga – with Eithne Kennedy
An open level yoga workshop to celebrate the beauty of Autumn. We will begin with a slow steady flow to open the body and build internal heat. The focus of our practice will then turn inwards, with a series of asanas to mirror the approach of Samhain, the celtic festival that marks the end of harvest and the beginning of winter or the ‘darker half’ of the year. Finishing with a long, relaxing yoga nidra practice to leave the body feeling relaxed, restored and ready for brunch.
The brunch – with Katie Sanderson
Brunch will be a multi-course vegetable feast. Expect lots of new tastes and combinations: some fermented foods and drinks, most likely some seaweed, lots of colour and probably some japanese influence too.
Brunch is served family style on one big long table in the Long Room, with tunes rolling in the background creating a perfect way to enjoy Katie’s food, and the best way to top off a lovely morning of yoga.
About Eithne Kennedy
Eithne is the resident yoga teacher in the Fumbally Stables on Monday nights. She teaches a Hatha flow practice that encourages you to find the balance between effort and ease, allowing you to find the space in your body that can take your practice a little deeper.
The approach that she takes when teaching is that yoga is available to everyone; practicing yoga should be an enjoyable and uplifting experience that empowers the individual and offers a tool for life.
