Manchán Magan is a writer and documentary maker who has been growing his own veg and baking two loaves a week for the last four years. He is not a professional baker but is eager to share his passion for sourdough bread making and the fascinating world of bacteria that this represents. He is currently touring his show ‘Arán & Im’, a performance which explores the connections between the Irish language, landscape and sourdough bread making.
