SATURDAY SOURDOUGH  12 – 2pm

The Saturday Sourdough classes are an introductory class to home sourdough bread making.

Hosted by Manchán Magan, these classes share with you the basics of sourdough home-baking, suitable for those who need a helping hand to get going with their sourdough baking at home. What you can expect from the class:

  • notes on sourdough bread making to take home with you
  • get a feel for a fermented dough and do a couple of folds
  • a few tasters of different types of sourdough
  • Making a starter / mother: how to kill your mother and bring her back to life

We will make a sourdough starter/mother together in this class so please bring your own jar.
Should you not have anything suitable we will have Kilner jars for sale on the day.

CONCESSION tickets available for students, OAPs and unwaged, apply discount code SATURDAY10 for €10 off, I.D. required on the day.

If you have bought or been given a VOUCHER please apply the code VOUCHER2019 to your desired class and bring the voucher with you to show us on the day.

Please note if we are obliged to cancel the course, you will have your payment back. If you fully booked but cannot attend to the course we ask for 10 working days notice before a refund can be issued unless of course we re-sell your space which we will endeavor to do.  Or we can also transfer your payment to another course. If you are unable to make part of the course, we can not offer a part refund once the course has started.
