For over four years now we have been making all our own naturally fermented and carbonated drinks in the Fumbally cafe. This workshop is an introduction to these processes, their health benefits and how to care for your starter cultures or ‘mothers’. We will taste each one of the ferments together and learn about the love and care needed for each one, storage, natural carbonation methods and flavour combinations. You will also get to make and take home a ginger bug starter.
WHAT TO BRING
a jar (approx 200ml) for your new ginger bug to get you started at home

If you have bought or been given a VOUCHER please apply the code VOUCHER2019 to your desired class and bring the voucher with you to show us on the day.
Please note if we are obliged to cancel the course, you will have your payment back. If you fully booked but cannot attend to the course we ask for 10 working days notice before a refund can be issued unless of course we re-sell your space which we will endeavor to do. Or we can also transfer your payment to another course. If you are unable to make part of the course, we can not offer a part refund once the course has started.
AILBHE WALSHE has been creating and caring for the fermented drinks in The Fumbally for three years. She is currently studying for a postgrad in food health and nutrition and is also a trained yoga teacher.
