Learn the basics of becoming a beekeeper: discussing the equipment required, the different parts of a hive and your role as a beekeeper.
About Sinead Finn
Sinéad started her beekeeping journey with the Banner Beekeepers in County Clare. Since then she has gained a passion for beekeeping and a fascination with the evolving, yet threatened Irish bee. She now holds workshops on bee pollination and the conservation of Irish bees while caring for her own honey bee hives.
Walking through the Burren one day I spotted some bee hives and thought to myself ‘I know nothing about bees’. Since that day I have realised I will never know enough about these fascinating creatures.
