Join us and learn how to dye your own garments and textiles with natural dyes using food waste like onion skins, avocado pits and other sustainable sources of colour.

In this workshop you will learn:

– How to wash and prepare the fibres to fix the colour and improve light and wash fastness.
– How to prepare your dyebath and extract all the colour from three different dye materials.
– How to record the process in your own journal so you can replicate the results at home.
– And finally, you are going to dye your own one of a kind garment!

This workshop is for beginners, so no previous knowledge is required.
+ We provide tea, coffee and light snacks to keep you going.
+ The garment needs to be made out of natural fibres like; Cotton, linen, viscose, silk etc. If you don’t have a garment we will provide an organic cotton tee.
