Yoga, followed by yummy brunch by Katie Sanderson.
A two hour long class given by resident yoga teacher Lou Horgan.
Lou’s teaching style is influenced by varying schools of thought which she has woven together and combined with her own unique experience of the world to create LouYoga. She teaches in a way that makes you feel you can take on the world and float on air.
Yoga takes place in the Studio Room.
Brunch will be a multi-plated feast prepared by Katie Sanderson. Sit back while different courses of food artfully presented and nutritionally chosen to be perfect for post yoga dining. You will all be eating together around one long table with music from the record player and all the time you want to enjoy it (we definitely won’t be rushing).
Dishes will depend on availability of fresh produce from suppliers, however, previous yoga brunches have seen: aubergine seaweed salad, sprouted mung croquette with black garlic, smoked aubergine oil and raw cashew “mayonnaise”, buckwheat granola with cultured yoghurt, homemade kombucha, rhubarb sorbet with amazake and lovage.

Katie Sanderson is a chef on the move. For the last five years she’s been putting on imaginative food events in locations around Ireland, including: Living Dinners; The Hare Cafe; and Dillisk food project. She has recently finished a residency in the Fumbally Stables and has just returned from another summer doing Dillisk.
Connection through food is of most importance to her whether that be through suppliers, the land, sea and tides, or through putting on these different dining experiences. In recent times an interest in fermentation and seaweeds found on our shores is evident in her cooking and teaching.
