Join us for a deep immersive week of yoga practice lead by James Higgins in the beautiful Fumbally Stables Studio, celebrating at the end of the week with a 5 course plant focused meal cooked by Katie Sanderson.

Each day will consist of 4 hours of yoga with James Higgins with a break offering a light nibble and a tea / fermented drink. On the final day (Friday) there will be a dinner, hosted in the Long Room underneath the studio, where Katie will present five of her favourite plant based, energising dishes that will compliment and celebrate the practice throughout the week.

THE PRACTICE

This workshop intensive will consist of strong, nourishing daily practice periods focused on the further development of physical strength, mental clarity, emotional integration, and spiritual wellbeing. The immersion will be led in a highly supportive environment where the components of a strong and stable foundation in asana practice, combined with meditative awareness will provide the opportunity for you to mindfully and safely explore your abilities and limitations. Each daily practice will be applied in a way that assists you in grounding good intentions and fortifying a preferred positive life path direction.

This yoga immersion will benefit and inform the developing teacher, inspired student, or healing professional. The further reaching intentions of this work will be to establish a consistent connection to the immeasurable qualities of compassion, care, love and kindness. These qualities will be fortified during our practice and ultimately in our daily lives.

Description of Practices: Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Trance Journey’s, Meditation, Chanting, Mantra.

  • Utilize powerful physical technique in asana to gain strength and structural harmony
  • Pranayama and Yoga Nidra to open the mind
  • Meditative Trance Journey Work to clear the subconscious
  • Meditations on love and kindness
  • Self Inquiry questions and considerations
  • Clearing out of the subconscious tendencies
  • Moving out of old stuck energies

ABOUT JAMES HIGGINS

James Higgins is entering twenty years of teaching. He travels internationally offering a unique appealing and challenging style of meditative Hatha Vinyasa practice. With a strong emphasis on the integration of physical, mental, and emotional wellness, each of his classes holds the intention for peaceful healing, Join James Higgins for a week that will provide ease and empowerment in the body, mind, heart, and soul by lightening what we carry along our life path and at the same time strengthen our wholesome foundations in our inherent goodness.

ABOUT KATIE SANDERSON

Katie’s passion for food was first sparked when she received a plastic kitchen set as a gift at the age of four. Growing up and learning about cooking in Hong Kong, her passion quickly developed into a multidimensional career that has already established her as a pioneer of creative and collaborative food-based projects around Ireland and abroad.

  • Living Dinners – an interpretation of the raw food movement hosted in unique locations.
  • Dillisk – a seaweed based project on the West coast of Ireland.

She is currently cooking for Michael Keegan Dolan‘s Teach Damhsa and completing her yoga teacher training 200hr, which she is looking forward to fusing with her future food projects.
