For three years we have been making all our own naturally fermented and carbonated drinks for the Fumbally cafe. This workshop is an introduction to these processes, their health benefits and how to care for your starter cultures or ‘mothers’. We will taste each one of the ferments together and learn about the love and care needed for each one, storage, natural carbonation methods and flavour combinations. You will also get to make and take home a ginger bug starter.

AILBHE WALSHE has been creating and caring for the fermented drinks in The Fumbally for almost two years. She is currently studying for a postgrad in food health and nutrition and is also a trained yoga teacher.
