Fumbally chef Aoife Allen will teach a six week cookery course in the beautiful Fumbally stables kitchen with a focus on sustainable, healthy and – most importantly – delicious home cooking.
This Tuesday evening class is for enthusiastic cooks and beginners alike who want to learn delicious veggie recipes, make meat go further, and get creative with leftovers. We’ll explore ingredients from some of Ireland’s small but mighty producers, and learn to make amazing dishes from around the world.
The course will also include tuition on making sauces and condiments from scratch, a baking class and an introduction to fermentation, with everyone taking home a sauerkraut or kimchi.
Learning will be hands on, with plenty of one-to-one guidance. The group will work in twos to prepare a two course meal that will be shared at the end of each class.
This class is limited to 10 places.
