Our course returns for its fifth run. Fumbally chef Aoife Allen will teach a six week cookery course in the beautiful Fumbally stables kitchen with a focus on sustainable, healthy and – most importantly – delicious home cooking.
This Tuesday evening class is for enthusiastic cooks and beginners alike who want to learn delicious veggie recipes, make meat go further, and get creative with leftovers. We’ll explore ingredients from some of Ireland’s small but mighty producers, and learn to make amazing dishes from around the world, from Korea to Italy.
The course will also include tuition on making sauces and condiments from scratch, sweet and savoury baking and an introduction to fermentation, with everyone taking home a sauerkraut or kimchi.
Sessions are very hands on and lively, with plenty of one-to-one guidance. The group will generally work in twos to prepare a two course meal that will be shared at the end of each class.
This class is limited to 10 places.
